Common installation methods of 5050 light bar (the following 5050 SMD 60-lamp RGB light bar as an example)
(1) 5 meters + adapter
We need to know the common SMD 5050 light bar 60 lights a meter for 14.4W, 30 lights is 7.2W, excluding power consumption under normal operation SMD 60 lights 5050 light bar power is 12W per meter. Then we are common for 5 meters a volume of light bars, that is, 5 * 12W = 60W, then we will match the power adapter according to our corresponding power. Common 5 meters RGB will be equipped with a good adapter. Installation is also very simple, as long as the docking arrow is connected well, there is no problem.
(2) 5m RGB light bar connected to switch power supply We all know that the common low-voltage light bar is 12V or 24V, the RGB light bar on the market is DC connector, so we must use DC connector to connect one end to the controller and the other end to switch power supply
(3) The installation method of more than 10 meters light bar as a decoration expert we all know that RGB controller can only control a considerable length, we can choose a larger controller or connect through an amplifier. Common project cases are installed in series and parallel connection.
Series connection: We calculate the power according to the total number of meters of our light bar, configure the corresponding power supply and controller (controller can control the maximum number of meters) + amplifier (power amplifier mainly transmits the control signal) parallel connection: this way we can use a splitter box.
